Privacy Controls
Request account or data deletion
ProofMove supports account deletion requests for individual users and company data
deletion requests for tenant owners or admins. Requests are reviewed before data is
removed so we can verify authority and protect tenant-owned operational records.
Individual account deletion
A ProofMove user can request deletion of their own account from the mobile app at
Settings → Legal & Support → Delete My Account.
You can also email support with your company name, username or email, and a short
note that you want your ProofMove account deleted.
Company or tenant data deletion
Tenant owners or admins can request deletion of company data from the mobile app at
Settings → Admin → Request Tenant Data Deletion.
Tenant-owned job, client, inventory, photo, and file data may require verification
and tenant owner authorization before deletion.
Data that may be deleted
- Account/profile/login information for the requesting user.
- Job and client records owned by a tenant, when authorized by the tenant owner.
- Inventory records, labels, QR-related records, and grouped item data.
- Uploaded photos, documents, files, and related file metadata where applicable.
- Operational logs or diagnostics where deletion is appropriate and not needed for security or compliance.
Data that may be retained
- Audit and security logs needed to protect the platform and investigate abuse.
- Records required for legal, fraud prevention, dispute, backup retention, tax, accounting, or business compliance reasons.
- Limited request records showing that a deletion request was received and processed.
- Backup copies until they expire through normal backup retention processes.
Timeline and verification
We expect to fulfill verified deletion requests within 30 days after verification,
unless a longer period is required for legal, security, dispute, backup, or compliance reasons.
We may ask you to verify your identity, account access, tenant/company role, or authority
before acting on a request. Regular users cannot request deletion of an entire tenant’s
company data unless a tenant owner or admin authorizes it.
